Our Mission

Every good parent wants the best for their child. If we could give them a life of bliss without heartache and burden I’m sure we all would. However, we know that would be unrealistic. It’s not a matter of when they will have to come face to face with life’s real challenges but how they will face them.

Our mission is to support families, schools and communities to raise an emotionally intelligent generation. Our goal is for every child to be equipped with EI skills so that as they mature and walk through life’s ups and downs, they will be able to do so with the best possible chance of success. Our vision for Little People Big Emotions is that every home, Kōhanga Reo, ECE and primary school in New Zealand with a child aged 2-10 will have these resources in their rooms/classrooms.
I hope that you can join me in what seems like a mountain to climb but so incredibly worth it for the futures of our precious taonga (treasures), our children.
